The family of missing Annie Dryden are urging her to reach out in a fresh appeal nearly three weeks since her disappearance.
The 20-year-old was reported missing on January 4 having been seen boarding a train at James Cook train station in Middlesbrough.
She was last spotted on CCTV getting off the train at Battersby station, North Yorkshire.
Annie’s family have today put out a fresh appeal begging her to get in touch.
The statement said: ‘Annie, we just want to know you are safe. You don’t need to come home, we just need to know you are ok.

‘We love you and we miss you but we also understand there were events coming up at home which were causing you upset. These have now passed.
‘So many people are worried about you, we are receiving so many messages from those concerned about you. Please just get in touch with someone.’
The message comes as the 20-year-old remains missing after nearly three weeks of search efforts.
North Yorkshire Police has been working with mountain rescue teams and the National Police Air Service helicopter in Battersby and other nearby areas such as Castleton.
A new statement from North Yorkshire Police added: ‘Annie we know from speaking to your family, you would not like the media attention, or your photograph being published.
‘We needed to do this to help find you. Once we know you are ok, we will remove your image from our website and social media channels and will work with the media to do the same. You are not in any trouble, just like your family, we want to know you are safe.’
The police asked the public to not speculate about the family’s statement on social media, as the message contents are ‘personal to her and her loved ones.’

When the search had been ongoing for two weeks, Detective Chief Inspector Fionna McEwan previously said that Annie is, ‘very familiar with the outdoors and wild camping’ but would, ‘likely to be wet and muddy and in need of supplies’.
Annie has dark hair with a distinctive blonde fringe and a scar above her top lip. She was last seen carrying a distinctive green and black walking backpack. She is described as approximately 5ft 10ins tall and of slim build.
